How do I format my SD card?#366

Before you format the SD card please make a backup of your pictures and music (My documents). If you want to keep your settings, you should make a backup of your “documents and settings”.

To format the SD card
  1. Shut down the Mobile device.
  2. Connect it to your computer using the USB cable. The N1m will automatically appear on your computer as a Removable disk.
  3. Right click on the Removable disk and choose Format. If you have a 1GB SD card, you should use the FAT32 file system. If you have a smaller card, use the FAT file system to format the card.
    After you have formatted the SD card and while it is still connected to the computer, log in to our web site and go to the download section. Choose the latest download and follow the instructions. When it is finished, you disconnect the device and start it up.
